How does booking work?
Browse available packages, choose your dates and party size, then pay through our secure checkout. Dark Timber coordinates the licensed outfitter and sends you the details.
When do I get charged?
You can pay a deposit to reserve your dates or pay in full at booking. The outfitter is only paid after your hunt is completed.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellation policies vary by package. Our team will help you through any changes to your booking - contact us directly.
Are your outfitters licensed?
Yes. Every outfitter on our platform must provide proof of valid hunting guide licenses for their state or province before being approved.
I am an outfitter. How do I list my tours?
Apply at darktimber.ca/operator/register. Dark Timber creates and sells the packages; approved outfitters handle assigned hunts as partnered outfitters.
How are outfitters paid?
Outfitters receive a direct payout after each hunt is marked complete, minus the platform commission agreed upon at sign-up.
